Location Description: |
Sokobanja is located in southeast Serbia, is 30km from Corridor 10, 220km from Belgrade, 180 km from Sofia and 60 km of Nis. Sokobanja one of the most attractive Serbian spa's and health centers, and, in addition to health, there are huge opportunities for development of sports, convention, recreation and rural tourism. The municipality has started number of projects that will enable rapid development and attract investors. Location is 3km away from center of Sokobanja and regional road R-121. Detailed Regulation Plan "Čuka 2" has been made and is in process of approval. Location of hotel complex "Podrinje" and touristic zone are placed concentrically regarding the park and they represent attractive location of interest for spa, which are planed to be built as touristical facilities. Location is partially infrastructurly equipped. Hotel 4* category is planed to be built, with restaurant with 200 seats, conference room, and recreational contents on 20.44ha in size.
