Location Description: |
The tourist and recreational complex "Stevanske livade" is located at the foot of the mountain Deli Jovan, at an altitude of 480 meters, near the village of Sikole. The complex has an area of 8.16 ha. The project for the construction of a tourist and recreational complex consists of: - Reconstruction of the existing building of the Home of Veterans, - construction of new or reconstruction of existing accommodation facilities - construction of other tourist facilities: sports fields (handball, basketball and tennis courts), playgrounds, camps, etc. The location of the project is now the building of the "House of Fighters", which has a total area of 629.57 m2, was built in 1970 and is in good condition. Next to it, there are several tourist and recreational facilities that are not in operation now: an outdoor pool, a cable car, a ski slope and several abandoned accommodation facilities. The location is known for its favorable climatic conditions for the prevention of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. In the period 1970-1990, the recreational complex provided services as a children's resort and a resort for workers of IHP Prahovo. In 2016, the Municipality of Negotin made a project of reconstruction and extension of the building of the House of Veterans in order to establish the Visitor Center. This project does not oblige the investor, and it envisaged a visitor center with 30 beds and a restaurant. Negotin, as a municipality on the Danube, is attractive for investments in tourism. Apart from the attractiveness of the specific location at the foot of Deli Jovan, Negotin has a very long tradition of tourism based on the rich cultural and historical heritage and the tradition of wine production. The famous wine cellars "Pimnice", preserved nature and potentially provided by the Danube are the basis of tourist attractions of the whole municipality Location Stevanske Livade, at the foot of Mount Deli Jovan, in the area of exceptional and preserved natural features, undisturbed natural balance, rich flora, and fauna provides conditions for numerous activities and development of health, recreational and hunting tourism. Nearby is the hunting ground Deli Jovan. |
