Prahovo Chemical Park is a strategic project that is being implemented in cooperation with the Government of Serbia. The chemical park is in the design phase. The spatial unit of IHP Prahovo covered by the plan is 323.62 ha. Within the whole envisaged for the industrial complex, the following zones are envisaged: - Existing industrial complex - Phosphogypsum warehouse - Chemical park - Industrial park - Energy island - Ecological island The first phase of development of the complex with a total area of ​​115 ha attracts up to 30 investors. It is expected that the Chemical Park can accommodate the first investors. 2022 The industrial park will function as an industrial zone, fully equipped with infrastructure. Investors will be able to get land and develop activities depending on their needs. The chemical products industry in Prahovo was founded in 1960 as a superphosphate factory. In addition to the chemical part, the transport part was also developed, as a companion for mass cargo, so the Port of Prahovo was formed. Today, Eliksir Prahovo - Industrija hemijskih proizvoda d.o.o. The powder is a large chemical complex for the production of basic chemical products, known for the production and processing of phosphorus components and the production of mineral fertilizers, with exceptional development potential in the higher stages of processing of phosphorus components. Produced phosphoric acid in Elixir Prahovo is used for the production of mineral fertilizers and phosphate nutrients in the plants in Prahovo and the Elixir Zorka factory in Sabac.
