Location Description: |
The Minel Industrial Complex is located in Zrenjanin, in the southern part of one of the most developed industrial centers in Serbia. Extremely developed manufacturing infrastructure in different sectors, skilled and skilled workforce, then excellent geographical location and transport connectivity make this site an outstanding potential resource. Close to major centers: Zrenjanin-Belgrade regional road 2km, Railway 2km, Nikola Tesla Airport Belgrade 78km, Danube port Novi Sad 50km, Romania border crossing 45km, Timisoara 100km, Hungarian border crossing 150km. The mine covers a total area of 38,880 m2, with a current occupancy of 32%, consisting of facilities with a total area of 12,444 m2. The complex is arranged as one functional unit with sophisticated infrastructure, which in addition to the basic elements contains two own transformer stations, gas station, complete installation for compressed air, heating system, water supply system with hydrants, sewage network of industrial capacity, firefighting and more. In accordance with the existing urban conditions, the capacity of the industrial complex can be reconstructed and expanded up to 50% of the occupied land, and the total area under the buildings would be 19,440 m2, instead of the existing 8,700 m2. Also, the possibility of changing the purpose into a modern commercial-residential complex has been opened. |
